Olympus Technologies Singapore Pte Ltd (OST) was privilege to be invited by Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Professor Anand Krishna Asundi, who is also a Director of Sensors & Actuators Programme that specializes in the Photonic/ Optical Engineering research field in Singapore, to present the technological know-how on Opto-Mechanical field to the final year mechanical engineering students, specializing in Optomechatronics.

Opening Speech by OST

The OST Mechanical Engineering team, lead by Mr Amos Foo (Manager - Mechanical Engineering) and Mr Urata (Staff Engineer, Optical Engineering), shared their experience and knowledge on Optical, Electronics and Mechanical engineering perspectives. The aim of the presentation was to better assist the students to appreciate the practical applications of optomechanical engineering in the commercial setting, in addition to their academic conceptual learning.

The presentation was well attended by the students and some lecturers from other engineering fields. The session ended with a well-exchanged, 2-way dialogue between the students and OST engineering team.
